PrEP stands for pre-exposure prophylaxis. PrEP is medication taken by HIV negative people before and after sex, to prevent HIV. For more information on PrEP please see https://www.sexualwellbeing.ie/prep/

GMHS currently has a limited number of weekly New PrEP appointments. GMHS appointments are managed through Swiftqueue and the New PrEP appointments are released Monday midnight/Tuesday Morning via their system. 

When you have registered for a GMHS New PrEP appointment, please expect a call from a GMHS Nurse to discuss your upcoming New PrEP appointment. Please allow up to 2 hours for your first New PrEP appointment in GMHS.  Please inform GMHS clinic in advance if you are unable to attend your appointment and we may be able to reschedule for a further date (not guaranteed). If you Do Not Attend your New PrEP appointment, you will need to rebook your appointment using the New PrEP appointment system.
